Fiona Failla is a qualified and driven bookkeeper and the founder and director of AboveBAS.
Fiona’s passion is to help business owners improve and simplify their business operations and offer a helping hand on their business journey. Established in 2003, rebranded in 2014 AboveBAS continues to grow.
AboveBAS is proud to offer a range of bookkeeping services and training and consultation services that assist business owners in understanding their books and to aid decision making.
As a family of business owners, Fiona understands and knows the ups and downs that can arise from running a business.
I am passionate about helping business owners achieve peace of mind as they endeavour to maintain the all-important work and life balance.
Fiona is a leader for the ABN Coffee Club in South Morang for the northern suburbs supporting bookkeepers. Fiona conducts training and consulting services personally or in a group environment.
Fiona is a registered BAS Agent, a Xero Certified Advisor, MYOB Certified Consultant, QBO Proadvisor, Member of Australian Bookkeepers Network (ABN) and Licensee of the Pure Bookkeeping System.
Some of Fiona’s proudest moments include AboveBAS winning XERO Bookkeeper of the year – Victoria 2019 and being a finalist in various awards.
A customer focused approach
Lidia is our office manager and has worked in administration and bookkeeping for over 25 years in a diverse range of offices from Accountancy Firms, Hospitality to Education.
She is a registered BAS Agent, a XERO Certified Advisor and has an Advanced Diploma in Accounting. In addition to being a senior professional bookkeeper she ensures that our office runs smoothly.
Lidia is enthusiastic and and passionate about keeping businesses compliant, streamlined and up to date.
Kerry is a Consultant and Training Specialist and a registered BAS Agent. Kerry is a MYOB & XERO Certified Consultant and Professional Partner with over 25 years experience. She established her own bookkeeping business 20 years ago in Northern Rivers NSW and recently moved to Melbourne. Kerry brings with her a wealth of knowledge and expertise in software consulting including specialist advice on software Add-Ons.
Kerry is qualified in Vocational and Education Training and conducts classes in MYOB, Bookkeeping, Small Business Financial Management. She is also a Member with the Australian Bookkeepers Network.
Kerry is passionate about educating businesses to utilise software to its full potential while supporting and training owners and staff through this process.
Alyssa is a Bookkeeper and is in the final year of the Bachelor in Accounting.
She says the following “I enjoy working within a team of talented and hardworking women who inspire me to be the best bookkeeper I aim to be.”
Alyssa is enthusiastic about ensuring business data is kept up to date and accounts are frequently reconciled.
