AboveBAS have now expanded and moved into a new office with a new look and feel, maintaining the same values of completing work at the highest standard. Offering services such as Bookkeeping, BAS and Financial Reports.
Sona Bookkeeping Services was founded in 2003 by Fiona Failla and has now been rebranded as AboveBAS, now offering businesses more than just Bookkeeping Services.
Fiona started her business in 2003 amid the need for quality bookkeepers. Expanding her clientele, largely from word of mouth in November 2014, she opened an office in South Morang and AboveBAS was born.
Fiona is a registered BAS Agent, She is a Xero Certified Advisor, MYOB professional partner, QBO Proadvisor, Member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB), Member of Australian Bookkeepers Network (ABN) and Licensee of the Pure Bookkeeping System.
Fiona is also a leader for the ABN Coffee Club in South Morang for the northern suburbs supporting bookkeepers. She also conducts training and consulting services personally or in a group environment.
Fiona understands and is passionate about helping business owners achieve peace of mind as they endeavour to maintain the all-important work and life balance.
Kerry Budgen – Consultant
Kerry is a Consultant and Training Specialist and a registered BAS Agent. Kerry is a MYOB & XERO Certified Consultant and Professional Partner with over 18 years experience. Kerry has established her own bookkeeping business 15 years ago in Northern Rivers NSW and recently moved to Melbourne. Kerry brings with her a wealth of knowledge and expertise in software consulting including specialist advice on software Add-Ons. Kerry is a qualified in Vocational and Education Training and conducts classes in MYOB, Bookkeeping, Small Business Financial Management. She is also a Member with the Australian Bookkeepers Network.
Kerry is passionate about educating businesses to utilise software to its full potential while supporting and training owners and staff through this process.
Lidia Solimando – Office Manager
Lidia is our office manager and has worked in administration and bookkeeping for over 25 years in a diverse range of offices from Accountancy Firms, Hospitality to Education. Has obtained her Advanced Diploma in Accounting. She previously worked as a Bookkeeper back in 2005 and has first hand experience in using the Pure Bookkeeping System. After returning to the work force from maternity leave, Lidia joined our team in May 2015.
Lidia is enthusiastic about implementing the Pure Bookkeeping System at AboveBAS and is passionate about keeping businesses compliant, streamlined and up to date.
